Description
The PSC VODEC P3-ZTE4 is a compact low profile 19 inch 1U (unit) high rack mount enclosure which enables the expansion of PSC VODEC P3-VX/AT PA/GA switch from four broadcast zones of address to eight broadcast zones. The unit carries a status display window which provides indication of zone(s) selected, critical input status and engineers test facility. The PSC VODEC P3-ZTE4 is connected to the host management system by plug in/out ribbon cable connections which enables very rapid installation and service.
The unit provides the following input/output connectivity:
Inputs
- Zone control, active low (0V) to address for each of four selectable sources from PSC VODEC operator access unit type VAP30. (VAP30 must be equipped with VAP100D transceiver)
- Audio bus and 22.5 kHz envelope sense test bus derived from PSC VODEC P3-VX/AT management host switch via the P3-VX/AT BGM input connector PLG (10 way ribbon)
Outputs
- Zoned audio to enable independent selection of additional 4 X zone (i.e. amplifier zone 5 – 8 when used with P3-VX/AT). This is extended by a 16 way ribbon cable header.
- Zone status indicator output providing up to four active low (0V) conditions when respective zone selection selected.
